  1. Visitors to the Club
    Spreading the word
The Keymer Folk Dance Club always welcomes visitors. Regular club members are very welcome to invite their friends to a club night. Those who have been to barn dances or ceilidhs will be familiar with the style and will know how much fun can be had. Unlike ballroom dancing or line dancing, this type of dance is popular because of the social element - you're always dancing with different people, not just your partner. We welcome many people who come on their own and they soon find new friends.
  2. MONDAY 3rd JUNE 2019
    SUMMER DANCE 2019
The outdoor Summer Dance on Ditchling Village Green has now become a popular annual event and the 2019 Summer Dance was held at the Ditchling Village Green and Barn on Monday 3rd June. We welcomed dancers from other clubs and the weather will stayed fair. We danced to a live band with Sean Goddard calling. Afterwards we went into the barn to share an American supper.
  3. Monday 2nd September 2019
First Club Night of the season
After the Summer Break the club will meet again on Monday 2nd September. In response to the general approval of the members last year, this first club night of the season will involve DANCING & CAKE! Members are invited to bring cakes and biscuits to share.
SUSFA AGM MAY 2019
The Sussex Folk Association (SusFa) Annual General Meeting was held at the Methodist Church in East Grinstead, the home of East Grinstead Folk Dance Club. It was followed by dancing. The Minutes will be published in the September issue of Sussex Pie.
